About Us

Craig Cooper

Craig fell in love with photography at 13, in his school’s black and white darkroom. He opened his South Fremantle studio in 2007 after 10 years of professional photography experience.

Craig is one of WA’s youngest Master Photographers and has won more than 15 industry awards at National and State level, including the coveted Gold Award at the Australian Professional Photography Awards.

Influences

Craig’s influences include Ansell Adams, Edward Weston, the Dutch impressionist painters, and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

What you wouldn’t guess

Craig once tried to impress girls by inviting them home to see his impressive collection of pickled spiders and other arachnids. Perhaps surprisingly, this strategy was very successful: it’s how he met his wife Astrid.
