Horse Portraiture
Cooper Studio is pleased to introduce an exciting and natural extension of our portraiture, family and beauty work – specialised equestrian photography centred on the relationship between horses and their human families.
Our equestrian work is different to anything currently offered in Perth, bringing our skills as portrait artists to your horses and your family. Our approach is to focus on the special relationship and the place your horses have in your lives, rather than just being a simple record of your horse’s appearance or career.
Horse shoots can involve your other family members and even other pets and will usually be on location at your property, agistment centre or other equestrian facilities. Alternatively the shoot can be held at popular riding locations such as beaches or bridle paths around the greater Perth area. Locations outside of perth can be covered by special arrangement.
Here are some ideas to personalise your equestrian shoot:
- Horse shoots tend to work best early to mid morning or mid to late afternoon, we’ll help you schedule the best time for your location.
- Remember that this is about you and your other family members too! Take time to think about what you would like to wear – it could be your riding attire or it could be something completely different!
- Think about your style – do you like things that are more traditional, more elegant or more modern? We can tailor your shoot and artwork to fit!
