Success at the Australian Professional Photography Awards

Craig Cooper News

Great news from the 2010 Australian Professional Photography Awards (that’s APPA for short!). Our own Mirco Bortolozzo has picked up two awards!

This landscape with bug splatters impressed some hardened professional landscape photographers with its originality to win a Silver Distinction.

APPA photo awardsAnd this picture of a misty railway bridge – shot on a recent journey in South America, earned him another Silver Award.

Cooper Studio photographers have now won over 20 awards at the Australian Professional Photography Awards.

Well done Mirco!

Studio Renovation Maddness!

Craig Cooper News

Ok. We’re a little up in the air at the moment. We’re building a new cinema room in our South Fremantle studio, and having fresh signage applied – “Cooper Photography” will be gone, replaced by our proper trading name “Cooper Studio”.

We’re also fixing the studio’s dodgy heating and cooling with some new reverse cycle air-conditioners.
So, dear visitor: life is usually neither this chaotic nor this messy for us. We don’t usually have plastic wrap over the doorways, or all of our operations squeezed into one room. Please forgive us if you visit this week.

The cinema room will be a private space for clients to view their photos, projected onto a big screen. We will be able to project frame and mounting mock-ups at their actual size, so clients will be able to see exactly how they will look. Should be up and running by the end of this week hopefully!
I’ll endeavour to post some photos when complete!
