We have recently updated some of the studio equipment, and have been having fun experimenting with the new toys! One of our favourite new pieces is a battery pack for the studio flashes, which means that we can take studio flash on location with us!
This has meant exciting new prospects for our wedding photography, as it allows us to create some pretty cool effects outdoors!
In preparation for using the flash on location for our weddings, we gave the setup a trial run for a recent beach shoot that we did for VivaSwim.
Our gorgeous model happily posed while we roped the others into assisting us with the setup (at one point we had them standing in the shallows handholding the flash!) but it was well worth it considering the results!

We are in the process of designing the wedding album for our first wedding using the studio flash on location, but will try to share some photos on here once the post production process is complete – so stay tuned!
