Welcome to 2013 everyone!!! How are those New Year’s resolutions going – sticking to them??

It can be a bit difficult to stay motivated, especially if your resolution relates to losing weight or getting fit, but just think of how awesome you will look if you commit and stick with it!

A great way to show off your hard work (& keep you motivated throughout the year and into the next one!) is to document all your hard work with a fitness shoot – something that reminds you how good you look and felt after months of hard work!

Kristy recently came in for a fitness shoot for this very reason – to show off how far she has come in her goal to become fit, and we loved the results so much we wanted to share them with you!

If your considering coming in for a fitness shoot, it’s always good to think of some props to bring along to the shoot that help express the look you want. Kristy brought in a great range of gear (and some very helpful assistants!) which really added to the shoot. We had everything from boxing gloves to weights to medicine balls, which meant we had several different looks and ideas to play with.

 Things to consider for a fitness shoot….

  • what props you want to include – think weights, gloves etc – anything that shows the sport/activity that you are into
  • what clothes to wear – workout gear looks good, but only if its nice, not the old baggy stuff we usually wear to work out in!
  • shoes – if you are going for something sport specific, then bring whatever footwear you normally wear, otherwise nice sneakers work well
  • body oil – this will really help to show off your muscles
